Coach Rook played high school baseball for Olathe South HS in Kansas. In his Junior season, his team won the Kansas 6A state baseball championship and in his Senior year his team finished 4th in the state. As team captain, he played 3rd base and batted 0.464 in his senior season.
Coach Rook has been coaching baseball at all levels from little league to high school travel ball for more than 10 years. In Spring 2012, he coached the TC 7th grade feeder team. His focus has always been to teach the proper way to play the game and to assist each player to become the best player and highest quality team-mate possible. Most importantly, he strives to teach all of the players life lessons such that each player can become well-rounded young men of high character.
Coach Rook and his wife, Carrie, have been married for 20 years. They have four children, Morgan, Parker, Harrison, and Caroline. The Rooks reside in Stoneybrook.
