Timber Creek baseball welcomes Micah Robinson to the Wolves family as an assistant varsity coach. Micah is a 2007 graduate of DeLand High School, where he excelled as an infielder and earned All-County honors for his play at second base as part of the Bulldogs baseball team that played in back-to-back Final Fours in 2006 and 2007. In 2007, the Bulldogs finished as 6A Florida State Championship runner-ups.
He began his collegiate career with Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL, where he was named to the 2008 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Championship team. After spending 2009 at Pasco-Hernando Community College in Port Richey, Micah completed his collegiate career at Limestone College in Gaffney, SC, finishing with a better than .300 average during both his junior and senior seasons. In 2010, he started 40 games for Limestone as a junior – leading the team with a .425 on-base percentage – and he rounded out his senior year by leading the squad in total hits with 61 while being named a 2011 Rawlings® Southeast Region Gold Glove winner.
Micah joins Timber Creek’s coaching staff after serving as a Windermere Prep assistant varsity coach during the 2013 season. In 2012, he served as the head JV and assistant varsity coach for Deland High School, helping the Bulldogs to a 13-2 JV record and a 22-5 varsity record. Micah joins Timber Creek as both a World History teacher and baseball coach. Please join us in welcoming Micah to the Wolves’ baseball family and wish him every success!
