We wish Coach Grove, Coach Finn, and Ms. Janet the best of luck with their new opportunity!!!

         Scott Grove

The Timber Creek baseball family thanks Scott Grove and his family for 12 outstanding seasons building a lasting legacy for student athletes.  Coach Grove compiled an incredible 246-98 record with the Wolves, beginning with Timber Creek’s inaugural season in spring 2002.  With his guidance, the Wolves earned six playoff berths, three trips to regional final games, two state final four appearances and three consecutive district championships from 2011-13.  Timber Creek baseball has moved from a basic school team to an elite program under Coach Grove’s leadership, becoming one of the state’s most recognized names on the baseball field.  As Coach Grove takes his talents to The First Academy for new challenges and opportunities for him and his family, we are incredibly appreciative of the time and teaching that he has invested with Timber Creek’s baseball players and families.  We wish him and his family the best of luck and every success with his school!

   Glenn Finnerty

As Timber Creek’s assistant varsity baseball coach for all 12 years of the program’s existence, Glenn “Finn” Finnerty has helped mold boys into ballplayers with a combination of mechanics, hard work and a passion for the game.  His ability to bring humor into baseball’s “teachable moments” has helped many ballplayers to strengthen their fundamental play and baseball acumen to better understand – and appreciate – the game. In addition, Finn’s dedication to providing Timber Creek players with the best possible field on which to play not only earned Wolf Pack Park the coveted “Field of Dreams Award,” but the thanks of every player and parent who has had the privilege to step on the field.  Coach Finn now joins Scott Grove’s staff at The First Academy – we thank him for his tireless efforts to improve every ballplayer’s baseball experience and wish him well in all of his future endeavors!

      Janet Weber

Janet Weber held the title of Director of Baseball Operations for the last several years, but the truth of the matter is that she has served as the Wolves’ one and only “team mom.”  As the behind-the-scenes coordinator of all things Timber Creek baseball, Janet devoted countless hours to ensuring that the elite Wolves program ran like a finely-tuned machine.  Simply put, she did it all – from uniforms and fundraisers to special events and scheduling – her incredible contributions to the success of our program are too numerous to count.  It was her dedication that ensured parents and players were always in the loop on the latest information, and that busses and lunch were ready to carry the Wolves to another playoff run.  Timber Creek baseball soars as it does today in no small part thanks to this special lady’s time, talents and love.  As Janet moves on to help Coach Grove and Coach Finnerty continue the success of The First Academy’s baseball program, countless players, coaches and families thank “mom” for making Timber Creek feel like family.  Best wishes, Janet!
