Player of the Year
DeLand, Sr. Pitcher
The buzz: Main was named Class 6A's state player of the year this year and Gatorade's Florida player of the year. Both put him in the running for more prestigious awards -- Florida Mr. Baseball and Gatorade National Player of the Year. He lost four games in his high-school career, two his freshman year.
This season, Main went 12-1, including a complete-game win over Pembroke Pines Flanagan in the state semifinals. He had an ERA of 1.02 with 121 strikeouts in 82 innings pitched. He saved his best offense for last, too, batting a career high .457 his senior year with 38 runs, 22 RBIs and 24 stolen bases.

The buzz: Beary was a first-team All-Metro selection with a .433 batting average, 23 RBIs and 16 stolen bases.
TONY CALDWELL
Winter Springs, Sr. Catcher
The buzz: The Miami signee hit three home runs and gave up three stolen bases all year.
AUSTIN CHUBB
Lake Mary, Sr. Utility
The buzz: The Lake Mary catcher batted .481 with 27 RBIs, 11 doubles and six homers.
DALEY COX
West Orange, Sr. Pitcher
The buzz: Cox went 10-1 with a 0.83 ERA and 114 strikeouts in 761/3 innings pitched.
DREW MORGAN
Winter Springs, Sr. Infield
The buzz: Morgan signed with Western Kentucky and had a .513 on-base percentage.

Buzz: The Patriots' ace signed with FSU and might be drafted high despite an injury.

The buzz: The USA Baseball Youth National Team member batted .485 with 19 RBIs and three home runs.

The buzz: Horton went 15-0 for the Class 4A state champs this season with his final win in the state semifinals.

The buzz: The shortstop batted .500 with 33 RBIs, seven home runs and 17 stolen bases.

The buzz: The third baseman batted .450 with nine home runs and 33 RBIs.

Bishop Moore, Jr. Utility
The buzz: The leadoff hitter batted .444 with 20 RBIs and a team-leading nine home runs.
TYLER SCANLON
Apopka, Sr. Outfield
The buzz: Scanlon batted .407 with 14 stolen bases and four home runs.

The buzz: Theisen batted .480 with 36 stolen bases and 38 RBIs before the final four this season.
